Our Program

Toddlers, 2-3 years of age:

• 6 to 1 child to teacher ratio
• Developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote social and emotional growth, emergent language skills, gross and fine motor skills
• Plenty of story time and music
• Positive encouragement of toilet training and self-help skills

Pre-School, 3-4 years of age:

• 7 to 1 child to teacher ratio
• Continued focus on social and emotional growth, language development, and self help skills
• Developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages exploration and manipulation of materials which form the foundation for more abstract learning
• Activities include art, music and movement, reading and math readiness activities, as well as color, shape, and name recognition

Pre-Kindergarten, 4-5 years of age:

• 7 to 1 child to teacher ratio
• Developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum as set forth by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and guided by the readiness standards of Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District
• Experiences in color, shape, number and recognition every day
• Preparation for kindergarten with pre-reading and writing and pre-math activities
